Of shaped circular form, on three openwork bracket feet, the scrolling border cast and pierced with grapes and flowers with two nymphs holding wine-cups and two lions at intervals, the field repousse and chased with flowers, leaves and rocaille against a matted ground, the center engraved with a coat of arms, crest and motto, marked on field--11 in. (28 cm.) diameter
