Of typical form, the arms of the cross terminating in cherub's heads and scrolls, the center applied with the figure of Christ below a plaque with the sacred monogram and above an applied skull and crossbones, the arms of the cross engraved with scrolling strapwork, above a cast gilt metal stem over a repousse and chased gilt copper vase-form support applied with two cherub's heads, all supported by an ormolu pedestal circa 1800 with stylized leaves and three winged cherub's heads over a guilloche border and a square foot, apparently unmarked--overall height 46 1/2 in. (118.2 cm.)
