On spreading circular foot, with baluster stem and vase shaped oval body applied with foliate scroll silver-gilt handles with white and red enamel, painted overall with scenes of Diana awarding the laurels in a race and with classical maidens and putti in a landscape within oval cartouches enclosed by vari-colored foliate scrolls, flowerheads, masks and animals on a white ground, struck with control marks--9 7/8in. (25.6cm.) high
