The ovoid body of transluscent scarlet enamel over guilloche ground, the cabochon sapphire pushpiece opening to reveal an inset gold-mounted vile for perfume, within a surround of white, red and blue champlevé scrolls, on a tripod scroll base with birdshead terminals, the egg marked on rim - 1 7/8 in. (4.5 cm.) high, in original fitted silk lined leather case, stamped "A La Vieille Russie"
