These masks were used in the second most important rank of the Bwami hierarchy. They are characterised by the two horns and are quite rare. (See Cornet, 1978, p. 339, no. 190)

A LEGA HORNED MASKETTE, kayamba
With rectangular shaped chin pierced to hold long fiber beard, pierced rectangular eyes and mouth, flat nose, broad forehead surmounted by two large pointed horns, kaolin applied to surface, rubbed away at high points.
