A MEISSEN FIGURE OF A YOUNG SHEPHERD standing playing the bagpipes, wearing a pink jacket and striped breeches, with a lamb and dog at his feet, on a mound base moulded with white and gilt scrolls (sheep's left ear lacking, restoration to mouth-piece and top of bagpipes, chips to leaves and to hat), Pressnummer 127, incised 2784, circa 1890, 6in. (15cm.) high; and a figure of a girl dancing wearing a red bodice and yellow flowered skirt, on a scroll-moulded mound base (left arm detached), Pressnummer 120, incised 86, 20th Century, 4¾in. (12cm.), both with blue crossed swords mark (2)
