With rectangular inset gilt-tooled leather writing panel above a frieze fitted with three drawers decorated with watery Chinoiserie scapes within foliate-cast encadrements, the sides centrally fitted with a patera flanked by similarly lacquered panels and with a slide, the back fitted with three similarly panelled sham drawers, on square tapering brass-inlaid legs ending in toupie sabots-29in. (74cm.) high, 51in. (130cm.) wide, 25¾in. (66cm.) deep
