The model was widely exhibited and was even displayed in several Hollywood movies made during the 1920's. In fact, Jennewien was not very happy with the use of his bronze in the movie Interference because, as his laywer wrote to the movie company "The action of the movie talkie takes place very largely in this room--probably about half the duration of the exhibition the statue is promiently featured; at one or more times it being practically the only article exhibited, there being one or more "close-ups" of the mantle with this statue on it, when pratically nothing else is visible. The character in the play known as Deborah Kane is an extremely unpleasant character. She is not only a woman of immoral life but conspires against other characters in the show to blackmail them, all which results in a plot to poison her which is carried out. All this action takes place precisely in front of or near Mr. Jennewein's statue." (Howarth, p. 86)
