Each delicate plant issuing from a hole in one of the two pierced jade 'rocks' supported within the green jadeite, lotus-leaf container, the orchids with slender white jade petals and purple silk and coral stamens, the other flowers, possibly of the lily family, carved from amber, and all of the long, slender leaves carved from green jade, losses--11in. (27.5cm.) high
