A RARE SET OF THREE MONOCHROME OVOID JARS
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD

One glazed imperial yellow, one apple green and the other aubergine, each with a short foot, tapering body, rounded shoulder and short, waisted neck, a thin rib just below the widest part of the body visible under the remarkably even glaze to indicate the luting line, interior glazed white, some cracks and fritting--8½in. (21.5cm.) high, carved wood covers with jade insets, wood stands
