A FINE DOUCAI BOWL
YONGZHENG MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD
With deep, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, the exterior well-painted with a dense design of scrolling tendrils alternately bearing a mallow blossom in pale mauve and a peony in iron-red, surrounded by graceful leaves, buds and other blooms, the interior with a similarly decorated medallion, all within blue line borders--5½in. (14cm.) diam.
