AN ETRUSCAN RED-FIGURED SPOUTED LEBES

With vertical lines on the shoulder, and scrolling vegetal motif on either side of the simple vertical handle and below the two vertical handles, the front of the vase with a molded spout in the form of a lion's head, and painted with a profile woman's head, her hair is a sakkos ornamented with x's, a ringlet of hair emerging from in front of the ear, and wearing a beaded necklace, 5 3/8 in. (13.6 cm.) high
