TWO EARLY DYNASTIC CYLINDER SEALS
CIRCA 2234-2260 B.C.
One of green ceramic engraved with a nude bearded hero in combat with a water buffalo, and a bull-man in combat with a lion, a column of inscription (a modern addition?) in between, 19 x 10 mm, and one of dark brown serpentine engraved with a rayed deity with a saw(?) and mace ascending a mountain, and a worshiper carrying a kid saluting a deity who is opening a portal to the ascending deity, 18 x 10 mm (2)
