THREE MITANIAN CYLINDER SEALS
CIRCA 1500-1300 B.C.

One of white chert engraved with two figures grasping a tree between them, with a ball staff and drill hole in the field, a fish, bull head, and drill hole above a recumbent antelope and star as the terminal, line border, repaired and chipped, 19.5 x 9 mm, one of hematite engraved with two figures standing before a seated figure holding a triple lightning fork, an incomplete ankh in the field, three stars in the sky, line border, 18 x 8 mm, and one of hematite engraved with three nude goddesses standing with their hands clasped under their breasts, vertical joined circle borders in between, a ball staff and a vessel in the field, line border, 20 x 9 mm (3)
