FIVE SYRIAN HEMATITE CYLINDER SEALS
CIRCA 1810-1740 B.C.

One engraved with two nude bearded heroes with curls standing on either side of a bearded deity holding a flowing vase, 21 x 11 mm, and four engraved with worshipers standing before a deity in ascending postion and holding an either a saw, eight-globed staff, or crescent-topped sceptor, various elements in the field, 17 x 8 mm, 13 x 7 mm (lower section missing), 15 x 7 mm (lower section missing), 18 x 10 mm (5)
