In a letter dated the same year Coolidge was named chairman of the local Republican Party organization, the young attorney requests information regarding a lawsuit he intends to bring. "I want to bring a suit on Monday next against the Consolidated Rendering Co. of Boston. Will you kindly telegraph me collect, whether it is a corporation. Please do this as early as you can on Monday...."
