A professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Wadere is known particularly for his monuments and architectural decorations. He received commissions for sculpture for the Palace of Justice, the Bank of Germany and the Nationalmuseum as well as the Künstlerhaus, all in Munich. He exhibited throughout Europe and his works can be found in museums around the world.
