MUROMACHI/EDO PERIOD (CIRCA 1500-1750)

The iron tsuba comprising: a round plate with flush inlay of vines and six mon (Kaga Yoshiro style, circa 1650)--8.4cm. h., 4mm. th.; another with eight mon and vine design (minor losses), (Kaga Yoshiro style, circa 1700)--8cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; another with six pierced mon inlaid with vines (losses)--7.9cm. h. 4.5mm. th.; another with vine inlay (minor losses), (circa 1750)--8.2cm. h., 5.25cm. th.; an oval kiku form plate with flush inlay of wheels in water, no hitsu-ana, (losses), (Kaga, circa 1600)--8cm. h. 7.7cm. w., 4mm. th.; a mokko kiku form plate with flush inlay of grape leaves and tendrils, signed Munetoshi saku, (Heianjo, circa 1600)--8.2cm. h., 7.7cm. w., 5mm. th.; a round pipe-rim plate inlaid with a flush keyfret design, the reverse decorated with gold and silver nonome, (circa 1650)--7.4cm. h., 3mm. th.; an oval plate with flush inlay of kiri mon and vines (losses)--7.5cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; a kiku form pierced plate, the edge with flush, scroll inlay (losses), (Kaga, circa 1600)--7.1cm. h., 6.5cm. w., 4mm. th.; a round pierced plate with two snow flakes and an umbrella, (Kyo Shoami, circa 1700)--8cm. h., 6mm. th.
