The iron tsuba comprising: a round plate pierced and carved with waves and thunder fish with gold nunome highlights, (circa 1800)--8.1cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; an oval plate with raised rim, the web carved in rough, radiating file marks, (Iwata Norisuke style, circa 1840)--7.8cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; an oval plate pierced and carved with a dragon and waves, inlaid highlights, (circa 1850), signed Choshu Hagi ju Tomoyuki saku--7.2cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; an oval plate pierced and carved with chrysanthemums and a stirrup, (circa 1850)--7.4cm. h., 5mm. th.; an oval plate pierced and carved with a tea house and utensils, with gold nunome touches, (Shoami school, circa 1800)--7.2cm. h., 4mm. th.; a rounded-square plate carved with waves in low relief, (circa 1800)--8.5cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; a round plate carved as a waterfall with a jumping shibuichi carp, inscribed Iwamoto Konkan, (circa 1800)--7.2cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; a tanto size plate of irregular shape with a shakudo fox in a cave, (Nara school style, circa 1750)--6.3cm. h., 4.5mm. th.; a kirikome mokko plate carved with kiri crests, (circa 1800)--7cm. h., 5.5mm. th.; a round plate with raised dot inlay, (rusted plate), (circa 1700)--7.1cm. h.
