The tsuba (eleven of iron) comprising: a mokko plate pierced with a design of abstract flames and hot-stamped with mon and kaze kanji, no hitsu-ana, (circa 1600)--9.2cm. h., 8.7cm. w., 4mm th.; a mokko plate hot-stamped with kane and dai kanji with slight gold nunome, (circa 1750)--8.2cm. h., 3.75mm. th.; a mokko plate hot-stamped with mon and inlaid brass dots, (circa 1600)--7.8cm. h., 3.5mm. th.; a mokko plate hammered and hot-stamped with mon and inlaid brass waste, (circa 1750)--8.2cm. h., 4mm. th.; a mokko plate, deep-hammered, with three small, pierced gourds, (circa 1650)--8cm., h., 4mm. th.; a rounded-square, hot-stamped plate, (depatinated), (circa 1775)--8.7cm. h., 4mm. th.; a rounded-square, deep-hammered plate with gold nunome wire dragons around the hitsu-ana, (circa 1750)--8.9cm. h., 4mm. th.; a rounded-square, dished plate with a hammered surface and shakudo skull with gold grass and silver moon, no hitsu-ana, (slight rust), (circa 1650)--10.5cm. h., 10cm. w., 3mm. th. at center, 5.5mm. th. at edge; an octagonal plate with raised, carved pine needles, gold and silver dew drops, (circa 1650)--9cm. h., 5mm. th.; two round plates decorated with gold-accented landscapes (Kaneie style, Saga Kaneie work, circa 1700)--8.1cm., 7.9cm. h.; two oval plates, one with a design of ducks, the other with rabbit and grass, (Saga Kaneie, circa 1700)-- 7.5, 5.7cm. h.
