The oval metal plaque decorated on the face in black and gold hiramaki-e on a gold ground with a bust portrait titled above Frederic II, decorated on the reverse in gold with the inscription Roi de Prusse et Electeur de Brandebourg on a roiro-nuri ground within a mother of pearl garland, attached brass hanging ring- 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) high, chips near hanging ring, some small surface nicks and scratches
