The balance wheel movement with verge escarpment and single fusee between circular plates mounted within oblong supports flanked by turned columns, the circular dial with engraved floral surround incorporating calendar apertures and hour ring with movable chapters for unequal hours, striking on bell mounted above balance by means of count wheel planted on floral, engraved, back plates--5 7/8in. (15cm.) high
