The large ovoid globe with narrower, cylindrical base of plique-a-jour enamel with a design of fences and lush blossoming chrysanthemums, the ground a pale green intersected at the top by darker blue lozenges of clouds and a thin band of purple linked clouds around the rim, the enamels outlined in slender sliver wire and the rims silver- 8 1/4 in. (21 cm.) high, 7 in. (17.7 cm.) diameter at mouth, hairline crack, some crazing
