The globular vase with wide, cylindrical neck cast in low relief on one side with a grove of cypress and flowering plum trees, the trunks of the cypress gilt and the blossoms of the plum finished in silver, and a crescent moon inlaid in silver visible behind the tall center tree and a single gilt bird flying high above, signed to the left of the scene Gyoko kore-o and sealed Fujii, removable inner metal liner- 10 7/8 in.
