THE FIRST, MAKER'S MARK OF TIFFANY & CO., THE SECOND, MAKER'S MARK OF GALE & WILLIS, NEW YORK, CIRCA 1857 AND 1860
Each oval, with ropetwist rim, the domed oval cover also with ropetwist molding and removable handles formed as Triton blowing a shell and with ropetwist molding, the cover of the first engraved with a fully rigged sloop underway on one side and New York Yacht Club, 1ST CLASS, Annual Regatta June 4th 1857, sloop Julia. on the other, the cover of the second engraved with the same sloop on one side, and engraved Yacht Julia from Yacht Rebecca, Match Race off Sandy Hook, 2nd August 1860, each marked under base--11 1/4in. long
