In two parts: the top section with overhanging cove-molded cornice above reeded stiles centering two glazed doors that open to reveal two fixed shelves with double-beaded outer edges; the lower section with slant lid opening to a fitted interior with central prospect door and document drawers flanked by two short drawers above a long drawer over three pigeonholes with shaped and line-inlaid valances and shaped dividers, the case with outset long drawer over three graduated long drawers flanked by turned pilasters headed by a veneered tablet edged in inlay, on turned feet (far right interior desk drawer replaced)--80in. high, 42 1/2in. wide, 20 1/2in. deep
