Of cardinal's hat form, painted in blues, yellow and ochre on a cream ground, the well with a flower against an alla porcellana ground and enclosed within a scallop surround, the rim bands of geometric patterns, the underside with close concentric blue circles, with paper collection label inscribed in type '30.' (rim restored from 8 o'clock to 1 o'clock, other smaller restorations to edge, chips to restoration)--6in. (15cm.) diam.
