SAVONA, CIRCA 1700, POSSIBLY THE WORKSHOP OF LUIGI LEVANTINO

Painted in black, yellow and green, the center with scattered vignettes of figures, animals and landscapes in the style of Jacques Callot, the rim with four panels of similar figures within molded rocaille cartouches and alternating with molded figures of winged angels, the underside with black orb mark (two chips to rim at 12 o'clock, minor nicks elsewhere along the rim, underside with three kiln support marks)--14 in. (35.5 cm.) diam.
