Centrally inlaid with an oval medallion and enclosing a floral spray with specimen marbles including verde antico, onyx, levanto rosso against a paragone ground, the sides similarly inlaid with demi-lune panels, the table with panelled frieze edged in entrelac centering a winged mask issuing vine-leaf branches on tapering fluted legs headed by acanthus and ending in foliate feet carved with stiff leaves-40½in.
