This print was acquired directly from the photographer by the present owner. At the time Smith was preparing prints for the limited edition portfolio Ten Photographs, published by Lee Witkin in 1977. It was selected for its fine rendering and tonality as one of the very best of a small group of prints that Smith had been working on.
