Of moon flask shape, and cut through the brown skin on one flattened side with archaic characters and on the other with flower sprays, the rounded shorter sides carved with relief stylized floral meander, small chip, stopper

The first two characters are indecipherable; the others are Tao Ling yi zhi hua. Tao Ling refers to Tao Yuan Ming, who was a 4th century poet and governor of a small county known to love flowers, particularly chrysanthemum, hence the floral decoration on this bottle
