Lot Essay

The archaic inscription to one side ends 'copied by Ruohuai'. Alongside the prunus is an inscription signed 'Sun Yun Shou painted for Ruohuai'. The flat stopper is inscribed chang sheng wei yang (longevity), in the style of Han Dynasty roof tiles
