Of deep rectangular form, the base sides and cover elaborately chased with trophies of the chase enclosing oval panels depicting stags and boar hunting, the interior of the cover engraved with a presentation inscription, apparently unmarked--4in.(10cm.) long

The inscription reads, "Thre Majestat die Konigin Elisabeth kat zum Andenken an Seine Majestat den in Gott ruhenden Konig Friedrich Wilhelm IV diese Dose am 24 December 1866 dem Oberprasidenten Freiherrn Senfft von Pilsack geschenkt."
