Each of baluster form with gilt neck and trumpet foot, the parcel-gilt side handles formed as caryatids, painted with scenes in the manner of Teniers of peasants smoking and playing cards in a tavern within gilt ribbon-tied laurel surrounds, the back gilt with a dolphin fountain within a heavy grapevine wreath, the whole on a square marbelized plinth--17½in.
