Depicting 'Janvier', 'Juin', 'Août' from 'Les Douze Mois' designed by Alexandre-Evariste Fragonard in 1808 and printed by Dufour et LeRoy in 1808, 'Janvier' with a classically garbed youth ice skating on a pond beside a fence and barren tree all in tones of ochre and siena, a fortress in the distance against a pale slate blue ground numbered '1ere', the reverse inscribed in ink 'No. 1ere' lower left in ink within a grained mahogany frame and with a color chart coded with corresponding numbers (areas of discoloration)-37 1/2in. x 25 1/4in. (95cm. x 64.5cm.); 'Juin' with a classically draped maiden bearing a flower-filled basket and kneeling to pick flowers within a grassy forest path near a tree, all in tones of ochre and siena, against a pale slate blue ground, numbered lower left in ink '6me' within a grained mahogany frame, the reverse inscribed in ink 'No. 6me' and with a color chart coded with corresponding numbers-37 1/2in. x 25 1/4in.
