With rounded rectangular ormolu-bound top with gilt-tooled inset brown leather writing panel, the angles with foliate-cast clasps above a frieze fitted with two drawer veneered à quatre faces, the sides similarly veneered, the back with two sham drawers, on cabriole legs headed by pierced foliate-cast chutes struck with the 'C' coronné poinçon ending in scroll sabots (restorations to veneer, partially remounted) -28 1/2in.
