Based on a composition in the museum at Bucharest (see the catalogue of the exhibition, Capolavori europei dalla Romania: sessanta dipinti dal Museo Nazionale d'Ate di Bucarest, Palazzo Ducale, Venice, Feb.-June 1991, pp. 34-5, color illustration, as Boccaccio Boccaccino) traditionally given to Boccaccino, but which some recent scholars have suggested may be one of the earliest recognizable works by Ludovico Mazzolino.
