The arched cornice with swagged frieze above a pair of glazed doors, the solid cylinder lid enclosing a fitted interior with leather-lined ratchet, over a pair of doors enclosing linen shelves, on splayed feet, the front and lid inlaid with ovals of bacchic cherubs or allegorical figures within crossed wheat sheaves, husk chains and portrait medallions--42in.
