A pair of similar gueridons, one signed 'Bullock', was sold from Hinton House at Phillips, Bath, 14 June 1993, lot 298. George Bullock's effects were sold by Christie's on 14 May 1819, the year following his death. Among his inventory were listed 'three sets of metal crane necks and a center gilt and designed for tripods' (lot 56) and a 'set of cast metal central pillars and branches for tripods, 5 various others, 1 cranes neck and sundrie' (lot 57).
