Cartouche-shaped, the sides and cover chased with foliate scrolls on a matted ground, with engine-turned base centered with a flowerhead, the hinged cover applied with a circular gold border engraved with a Latin presentation inscription enclosing chased accole coats-of-arms, marked on interior base and cover--3½in.(9cm.) long
