FIRST EDITION. Preface signed W.T. As the book aggressively objected to Henry VIII's project for divorce, it was severely suppressed, and those found distributing it were marched through the streets of London, forced to wear a copy tied round the neck with a sign saying 'I have sinned against the King's laws'.
