Small 8° (137 x 90mm). Collation: A-G8 H4. (Small clean tear in D1; staining in margins of last leaves.) Early 19th-century calf. Provenance: Charles Palmer, Ap: 1710 (signature on verso of last leaf), he was the heir of Lord Castlemaine and formed an important library; Bute bookplate.
ONLY EDITION. Veron, a French Protestant, studied in Cambridge and became vicar of St.Alphage in London, he was imprisoned under Queen Mary. STC 24676 (records 5 copies, including the present)
