ELEGANT ART DECO DIAMOND, MOTHER-OF-PEARL, JADE AND ENAMEL VANITY CASE
Of rectangular outline in black enamel and 18K gold, the lid decorated with rose and baguette-cut diamonds and a mother-of-pearl marquetry panel depicting an Oriental landscape enhanced by two orange enamel and gold animals, each side set with a carved jade plaque, opening to reveal a mirror, a lipstick holder and two covered compartments (one small diamond missing), in a silk brocade slipcase, circa 1925--3 3/8 x 1 7/8 x 3/8 in.
