8° (180 x 112mm). PRINTED ON VELLUM. Collation: a-l8 m4. Printer's device on title, 21 full-page metalcuts, 27 lines within woodcut border, initials illuminated in gold, red and blue, almanac for 1502-1520. (Small wormhole in first seven and last two leaves.) Contemporary French blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, spine in compartments (worn at head and foot, boards wormed, lacks clasps), g.e. Provenance: Bute bookplate.
Rare edition according to Fairfax Murray French 256 (a copy on paper without illumination). A few of the cuts are different from Pigouchet's earlier editions, the Tree of Jesse for the Annunciation etc. These Hours appear similar to Bohatta 747, but the signatures are lower case. The space before the almanac leaves room for the year 1501, indicating a possible variant of the 15 November 1502 (Bohatta 736); not in Lacombe, Brunet or Van Praet.
