The first, of flaring form, woven with a petaled star at the center of the basin and a zig-zag band broken by a cross-shaped pathway, the rim woven of a herringbone pattern; the second, of cylindrical form, flaring at the rim, woven on a bundle foundation with alternating stylized bird and cross motifs on the body and alternating open-center diamonds and sqaures below the rim, the first: 12in.
