The socket piece of cylindrical form, split down the middle, a portion missing, showing deeply cut radiating spurred lines defining the snout and canine teeth of a monster, the counterweight of typical double winged shape, the front incised with nucleated circles and curved lines defining animal heads at the ends, the back center carved in relief to suggest a winged creature, some eroded surface areas, the first: 3¼in.
