Each of rectangular shape with hinged cover and flat base, inlaid on the lid with a rectangular panel inlaid in mother of pearl with bamboo, plum, pine and birds, and on the sides with panels of lotus scroll within narrow borders of repeated lotus buds, black lacquer ground, hammered metal borders, metal mounts, interiors lined with paper- 28 3/8 x 15 3/4 x 10 1/4 in.
