A PAIR OF LOUIS XV/XVI ORMOLU THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRA
CIRCA 1765

In the manner of Jean-Charles Delafosse, each with pierced tripartite foliate-cast C-shaped branches fitted with beaded flutted bobêches and hung with laurel swags centering a flambeau finial, the branches ending in hairy cloven feet on an acanthus-cast domed socle and outset rounded plinth (drilled for electricity)-12¾in. (32.7cm.) high
