Folio (425 x 272mm.). Ruled in red throughout, with wide margins. Engraved frontispiece, double-page map of England and 101 double-page strip road maps (maps 61 and 62 transposed), engraved initials and head-pieces, (Slightly browned at margins, few minor tears, small worm hole affecting the lower margin of the first four leaves). Contemporary pannelled calf neatly rebacked in the 18th Century, spine gilt in seven compartments (rubbed, front cover detached). Provenance : James Comerford (bookplate); baron Amherst (bookplate)
