Lot Essay

The present model was conceived circa 1906, and was cast in an edition of two models by Hébrard in 1922/23, and a second edition was cast by Valsuani in 1929. The present model is one of 12 casts edited by Valsuani posthumously. Cf. C. Chevillot, L. Colas, A.
